Title: Searching for m/sailer AMERIGO VESPUCCI disappeared May 1945 Post by: shipsstuff on October 18, 2009, 12:06:51 pm There was an Italian motorsailer which was taken away from Trieste by the Partizan Navy in May 1945. Her name was AMERIGO VESPUCCI, built in Cattolica in 1934 , 57 gt – 48 nt – 19,14 x 6,30 m, wood construction. We presume that she was enrolled in the Ratna Mornarica, but we have heard nothing since. Can anybody help?
