I have a question on NB-9 and NB-5. I understand both of these were customs boats before the war. Did they each have sister ships? If they did, what happened to them during the war?
With this articles, which was posted by kanader41, we can say that NB-5 Ivan had a lot of sister ships. Actually it had 441 sister ship, since it was a SC-1 class submarine chaser. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SC-1_class_submarine_chaserHere is a photo of SC-2, same lines like NB-5.
