Hmmm...that one I`ve found on Joe Baugher page about US aircraft serial numbers, and it is staded there that this aircraft vent to JRV as 10676.
I see that MOTORISTA mentioned Joe Baugher's site. I'd like to point out a few things about Mr. Baugher's site if you guys don't mind. Maybe it will help some other fellow researchers.
His site is really very interesting. It explains very well various serial number systems used in USA over the years. It's also very helpfull when one has to determine the type, serial number or C/N of a paricular aircraft.
But PLEASE be carefull when you read individual aircraft histories written on the site ! A lot of the individual acircraft info written on the site was sent to Mr. Baugher by other people. And here is the "catch". Sometimes that info info is great, even amazing, but sometimes it doesn't have any sense at all.
That is also the case with aircraft used by JRV. Everything is possible ! Since we're talking about F-84G's at the moment here is an example of the wrong info :
"51-525 to Yugoslav AF as 12013" -> this registration belongs to a batch which was used on F-84E-25-RE Thunderjets !!
As most of you probably know ex-Yugoslavia never used F-84E's, and even if they were used they definitely wouldn't use a registration in 12000 range. I think this is a good example that individual aircraft info written there has to be used with caution.
I hope this info will be of help to our forum members.
