KOliko znam, GT kod punim opterečenjem nema bitnu razliku u potrošni u odnosu na diesel, ali je problem GT ninimalni gas, rad na mesu gde je žedna. Iako lakše od dizla, imaju po mom veliku prednost za ruse. Ne smeta jim niska temperatura za razliku od dizela.

 Па русите биле задоволни Bozo13 од гасната турбина бидејки лесно се палела во зима но како што пиша кумбор  русите многу касно развија силен дизел мотор и од тие причини ставија гасна турбина во т-80 со цел да добија поквалитетна и посилна погонска група.Кој знај можи и т-55 со гасна турбина ке имаа поголема брзина и сила.

Пример за тенк кој нема погонска група е турскиот Алатај турците ја купија целата документација од Јужна Кореја но проблемот беше тоа што погонската група е  германија за јужно корејскиот тенк и тоа беше подоцна проблем за Турците и нивниот тенк.

Не Турците ја купија лиценцата за црн пантер од Јужна Кореја но без погонска група .Бидејки погонската група не ја произведувале Корејците ја купувале тие од Германија или истиот мотор од ЛЕО-2 го користеле.Германците одбиле да му продадат мотори на Турците за нивниот нов тенк.Поради тоа остануват неколку опции едната е да се постави електро хибриден погон другата опција е стави гасна турбина израборена или во Украина или во Русија .

Али Руси већ 70 година имају летња и зимска дизел горива. Тај "зимски дизел" мрзне тек испод -30*.

Notes: These tanks were modified to accept ПСТ-У (PST-U) or ПСТ-54 (PST-54) flotation pontoons for river/sea crossing. The steel pontoons weighed 10 tonnes, and provided the T-54 with 40% reserve buoyancy. They were powered by two propellors which took power off from tank driving wheels. Range was 60-80 kilometers at 12 km/h in the water and the pontoons contained their own 500 liter fuel tanks so that fuel on board the tank was not spent.

In 1965, new aluminum pontoons were accepted into service under ПСТ-63 (PST-63) which weighed only 5.5 tonnes. PST-63M and PST-64 pontoons were developed to allow flotation of T-55s and T-62s.

ZSU-57-2s that were modified to use PST pontoons were Object 510.

Notes: Introduced lead-impregnated plastic liner (POV) to protect the crew against radiation, along with an improved protective suite which no longer relied on simple overpressure. Due to a lack of internal space to apply the POV, large amounts were applied externally, which can be seen by the fact that the hatches on the T-55A no longer sit flush with the surrounding surfaces.

During the long production run of the T-55A, various incremental improvements were done. In 1970, a DShK-M AAMG was given to the loader to defeat NATO anti-tank helicopters; while in 1974, the KVD-1 laser rangefinder was fitted.
