correction:
this a/c is NOT 51-1138, that crashed 15.08.55 with 49 FBW in Korea

a/c is 51-11138, d/d USAF 29.12.52, SOC USAF 24.12.53, via MAP 15.01.54 to JRV, entering JRV service 05.04.54

10505 ?? looks better

No, I think not. Look at the middle of the "5"and the "3"
The "5"is in the middle, on the left, far lower as the "3"

So I THINK (but not for certain) it is 10503

More confusing, over the years, spotter reports have reported both 10503 and 10505 at this location......

But I am open to the definitive answer!

From the United States Air Force serial blocks, used for the Republic F-84G Thunderjet, the following have been delivered to the JRV.

Block 52-2893 / 52-3329 :
-------------------------
2913, 2924, 2926, 2928, 2932, 2936, 2937, 2939, 2946, 2948, 2951, 2953, 2955, 2962, 2963, 2964, 2971, 2972, 2989, 2994, 2998, 2999, 3007, 3183
notes :
All of the deliveries from 52-2893 / 52-3329 are labelled “project MDA00029” on the USAF individual aircraft record card. Furhter, both overall project MDAP-2 and MDAP-18 are mentioned, when using the JRV deliveries as “project MDA00029”.
