Aeroplan Potez 29


Francuska fabrika aviona Potez izradila je 1927. godine prototip (F-AIQD) novog dvokrilnog putničkog aviona sa zatvorenom kabinom. Ovaj novi tip, koji je dobio oznaku Potez 29 direktno je razvijen iz poznatog izviđačko bombarderskog aviona Potez 25. Bio je to single-bay dvokrilac, mešovite konstrukcije, sa krilima različitog razmaha.
  
Prototip (F-AIQD) je bio opremljen vodom hlađenim, motorom Lorraine Dietrich 12Eb snage 450 KS i imao je pilotsku kabinu za dva člana posade kao i putničku kabinu sa 5 (pet) sedišta.
 
Postojale su dve osnovne serijski proizvođene verzije Potez 29-2 sa motorom Lorraine Dietrich i Potez 29-4 sa motorom Gnome Rhône Jupiter 9 snage 420 ili 480 KS.
 
AEROPUT je naručio 4 aviona Potez 29-2 koji su isporučeni početkom 1928. godine i već 15. februara 1928. godine započeli službu na relaciji Beograd-Zagreb i natrag. Francuski Aéropostale je, takođe, naručio jedan avion Potez 29-2 (F-AIVX, c/n 1497), koji pri formiranju Air France ušao u sastav flote ove novormirane kompanije da bi nešto kasnije bio predat u Aeroposta Argentina.

Krštenje jednog od prvih poteza prispelih 1929. godine.

Početkom 1929. godine AEROPUT je primio još dva aviona Potez 29-2 a tokom te godine i francuska CIDNA je primila 13 aviona Potez 29-4. CIDNA je ove svoje avione koristila trans-evropskim rutama i bazirala ih je u Parizu, Pragu, Beogradu i Istanbulu. Rumunska avio kopmanija LARES je takođe nabavila 2 aviona Potez 29-4. U 1930. godini pojavila se varijanta Potez 29-11 sa motorom Salmson 18Ab ali je prozveden samo jedan primerak ove verzije (F-AJSN, c/n 1794). Konačno, 1931. godine francuskoj vladi je isporučen jedan Potez 29-2 (F-ALVR, c/n 2744).
 
Jugoslovenski potezi su u putničkoj kabini imali 5 sedišta, tri (od 13) Poteza kompanije CIDNA su imali 6 sedišta a svi ostali su imali po 4 sedišta.  
Kada je 7. oktobra 1933. godine francuski ministar vazduhoplovstva Pjer Kot (Pierre Cot) zvanično inagurisao novu avio kompaniju Air France njenu flotu je, pored drugih aviona činilo i 7 Poteza 29-4 (iz kompanije CIDNA) i jedan Potez 29-2 (iz kompanije Aeropostale).
