Rusko vazduhoplovstvo primilo je prvih 6 od 12 modernizovanih lovaca bombardera Su-24. Unapredjeni su elektronski sitemi, ugradjen je GPS, digitalni pokazivači... Ugradjena je i oprema potrebna za korišćenje "pametnih bombi".
Ove godine su avioni Su-24 tri puta prizemljivani zbog rušenja. Su-24 je već 32 godine u operativnoj upotrebi. Od ukupno proizvedenih 1400 aparata, u letnom stanju je trećina.

Modernizovana verzija je dobila oznaku Su-24M2.

Modernizovani Su-24M2


26.decembar 2007. godine

Proizvodjač aviona Suhoj isporučila je poslednja 4 modernizovana aviona Su-24M2 iz grupe od 12 modernizovanih aviona. Poslednja 4 aviona isporučena su na ruski daleki istok.

Modernizacija je izvršena u fabrici aviona u Novosibirsku, delu kompanije Sukhoi Aircraft Holding.

Su-24M2 je modernizovana verzija aviona Su-24M, opremljen modernijim kokpitom sa višefunkcijskim pokazivačima, nišanskom kacigom, novim računarom SVP-24 i najmodernijim softverom čime je poboljšana navigacija i preciznost gadjanja nevodjenim oružjem.

  Mislim da ovu temu treba osvežiti fotografijama novijeg datuma. Iako SU-34 uzima primat, SU-24 još uvek aktivno leti. Prva fotografija tretira najbitnije tt. karakteristike a ostale su u kontekstu aktuelnih dešavanja na ruskom nebu.
