Ise was an Ise-class battleship and the leadship of her class. In 1943, Ise was converted into a hybrid battleship/ aircraft carrier. She was bombed and sunk by carrier-based aircraft of the US Navy on July 24th and 28th, 1945, at Kure Harbor, Japan. This video shows the wreck of the battleship Ise in Kure harbor.
