PZL M18 A

Dalnji razvoj PLZ M 18 doveo je do modela PZL M18 A, gde je iza pilotske kabine smešteno dodatno sedište za mehaničara, koji je bio okrenut kontra smeru leta. Slično rešenje je več pre bilo poznato i na modelu PZL-106 "Raven" iste tvrtke.

PZL M 18 AS

Pošto su kupci PLZ M 18 i PLZ M18A iskazali želju po trenažnom avionu, firma  PZL-Mielec razvila je na osnovu PLZ M-18A školski avion, gde je umesto drugog sedišta za mehaničara smešten instruktorsko radno mesto, u produženoj kabini. Instruktorsko mesto zauzimalo je prostor središnjeg rezervoara za kemikalije. Koncept, poimenovan PLZ M 18 AS bio je pripremljen 1984, dok je izgradnja prvih dviju prototipa počela 1986, da bi se kasnije prvi let obavio 31.3.1988.

PZL M 18 (T45) Turbine Dromader

Varijanta PZL M18 A, kojega je umesto ASZ-62IR  motora pogonila turbina Pratt & Whitney PT6A-45AG sa  895 kW (1217 ks). Konstruktorskom timu iz PZL-Mielec pomogao je u tome i James Mills iz kompanije Melex (u delnom vlastništvu PZL Mielec). Prvi put poleteo 1985.

Poboljšana verzija PZL M18 A sa večim spremnicima za kemikalije, prvi prototip poleteo 1993.
Mogao je poneti do 2220 l kemikalija/vode ili do 1900 kg kemikalija/vode. Motor ASZ-62IR   je ostao isti, kao i na prijašnjem modelu, sa 745 kW (1,000 ks)

Verzija PZL M18 B, opremljena jačim motorom Kalisz K-9 sa 895 kW (1200 ks).Prototip poleteo 1995, ali nije ušao u proizvodnju.



PZL M 21 Dromader Mini

Smanjena varijanta PZL M18 B, koji je umesto 1900 kg kemikalija mogao poneti samo 1100 kg. Prototip poleteo 1982, ali nije ušao u serijsku proizvodnju.

PZL M 24 Dromader Super

Povečana varijanta PZL M18 B, koji je umesto 1900 kg kemikalija mogao poneti samo 2000 kg. Prototip poleteo 1987, ali nije ušao u serijsku proizvodnju.

PZL M 25 Dromader Mikro

Smanjena varijanta PZL M 21 Dromader Mini, koji je umesto 1100 kg kemikalija mogao poneti samo 500 kg. Prototip ostao na papiru.

Sveukupno je proizvedeno do 2012 oko 770 Dromadera svih varijanti, sa tim da jih je oko 90% bilo namenjeno izvozu.

i posle svih ovih slika i postova o dromaderu, nije mi postalo jasno gde su mu spremnici za vodu? Repni deo - iza pilotske kabine mi izgleda maleno, između motora i pilota ima dosta prostora.

(ili nisam pazio na času, ili niko nije objasnio)

2 tone nije mala stvar - to je 2 m3 tovarnog prostora. Verujem da je to raspoređeno u nekoliko rezervoara u trupu aviona ...

Rezervoari za vodu su izmedju motora i pilotske kabine, a za gorivo su u krilima.

Ako dobro čitam shemu, rezervoar bi trebao biti ispred pilota, označeno zeleno.

A u kokpitu se vidi otvor za kontrolu količine tekučine u tanku.

Pratt & Whitney - paket pretvorbe M18 Dromadera iz klipnog u turboprop zrakoplov.



Komplet za konverziju s radijalnog na turbopop pogon  dizajniran je od strane američke tvrtke Pratt & Whitney M18 Dromader, nudi kvalitetnije mogućnosti produktivne i profitabilne naravi. Nakon konverzije na turboprop pogon osigurava se kraće vrijeme polijetanja, omogućuje let zrakoplova na većim visinama uz veću brzinu penjanja uz omogućavanje veće nosivosti tereta. Za M18 Dromader pretvorba uključuje novi zamjenski Firewall naprijed, stakloplastični pokrov motora koji omogućuje tekuće održavanja jednom mehaničaru uz  jednostavan pristup, nove baterije, RAM zračni sustav s K & N filterima i mnoge druge usluge koje druge tvrtke ne nude.
