Našao zanimljiv dokument (prezentaciju) sa testiranja (Interoperability) 120 mm tenkovske municije proizvedene u SAD na tenkovima Leopard 2A4 i 2A5 (top dužine 44 kalibra) i Leopard 2A6 (top dužine 55 kalibara).

Da, municija je kompatibilna, kao što je i za očekivati, jer je i 120 mm top, koga koristi Abrams M256 kopija nemačkog 120L44 topa, samo drugačiji zatvarač (horizontalni/vertikalni).
Ali ipak je red da se i to stestira.
Što mi je najbolje kod te prezentacije su slike 12,14,19, gde se vidi razlika u početnoj brzini granate kod topa različite dužine cevi (L44/L55).
Šteta što nisu testirali i noviju nemačku municiju.
