Car Franjo Josip I bio je veliki ljubitelj manavera, osobiti onih na kopnu gdje je bio i u poznim godinama neumorni jahac koji je mnogo mladje ostavio iza sebe.
Medjutim, pocetkom 9/1902. odrzani su manevri i na Jadranu i to oko Pule i Losinja.
Tom je prilikom snimljeno tridesetak fotografija pa ce biti prikazane u ovom topiku.

Car je dosao carskim vlakom, na obali pokraj mola Elisabeth vrsi smotru vojske i mornarice te se ukrcava na kuter prema jahti Miramar.
