Упоредни преглед основних ТТ карактеристика ов два брода

Однос лаке ПА артиљерије у току сазревања идеје, да је овим бродовима највећи непријатељ авијација

Док је при поринућу код оба брода заступњеност топова калибра 20мм била безначајна: 10 једноцевних и 2 четвороцевна, при крају свог "живота" Тирпиц је јула 1944.године имао 18 четвороцевних (20 mm-MG-C/38, Anti-Aircraft - Machine Gun) топова
