Heavy clashes are being reported between Tigray fighters and Ethiopian Federal government troops near Abiy Addi, Meili and Endabaguna towns of Tigray. In November last year, ENDF claimed that military operation in Tigay was over. But fighting in many parts of Tigray still goes on. Abiy Addi town is in central Tigray while Endabaguna and Meili are situated in north western Tigray region of Ethiopia.

Ethiopia sent Pantsir missile system to Sudan border

Ethiopia has sent Pantsir missile system to its border with Sudan. Tensions between Ethiopia and Sudan are escalating over border areas like Al Fashaga which was captured by Sudanese forces in a recent large scale military offensive. Pantsir is short range Russian air defense system which is effective against low flying objects including helicopters, drones and aircrafts. Sudan has also deployed its warplanes to border areas.

Sudan took large swathes of land in Al Fashaga recently by a military offensive. Ethiopia and Sudan have mobilized their forces to bordering areas. Both Sudan and Ethiopia have deployed their forces in border areas. Ethiopian fighter jets and Sudanese aircrafts have been seen making flights over Ethiopia-Sudan border areas.

3 top leaders of TPLF (Tigray People's Liberation Front) have been killed by ENDF (Ethiopian National Defense Forces). The killed Tigray leaders include Seyoum Mesfin, former Foreign Minister of Ethiopia, Asmelash Woldeselaisse and Abaiy Tsehaye. Colonel Kiros Hgos, who defected and jointed Tigray forces, has also been killed. Meanwhile fighting between Ethiopian National Defense Forces and Tigray fighters goes on in several parts of Tigray.

Tigray forces claim to have captured Dearo Tekle & Adi Berak

Tigray forces are claiming that they have taken control of two places i.e. Dearo Tekle and Adi Berak near Eritraean border. Dearo Tekle is situated to the north of Adwa town. It is around 25 kilometers away from Tigray-Eritrea border. Adi Berak is also close to Ethiopia-Eritrea border in Tigray. Fighting between Tigray forces and Ethiopian federal government forces is being reported in several parts of Tigray. It seems Tigray forces are pushing this war to Tigray-Eritrea border areas.
