17. decembar 2007. godine

U Bej Kauntiju, pred 5000 posetilaca, u operativu je uveden najnovij iamfibijski transportni dok klase San Antonio, oznake LPD-19, USS Mesa Verde. USS Mesa Verde je treći brod u svojoj klasi, a od polaganja kobilice do uvodjenja u operativu proteklo je 5 godina.

U toku je izgradnja još 6 brodova iste klase.
