Eksponat vojnog muzeja Pivka

Samohodni PA top bio je uveden u naoružanje 1955 godine. Serijska proizvodnja bila je  1957-1960 godine. Šasija je T54. Proizvodio se u Zavodu br.174 u Omsku. Namjen je bio za PA zaštitu oklopno-meh. jedinica. Zbog nemogučnosti RKBO zaštite (otvorena kupola) i neefikasnog sistema upravljanja vatrom-optički nišan, ocjenjen je kao neprimjeran za svoju namjenu. Zamjen je  sistemom  ZSU-23-4 "šilka".
JNA je od 1961-1963 nabavila 125 rabljenih sistema.Raspoređeni su bili u lake samohodne art-raketne  divizjone PVO. U Sloveniji su bile dvije baterije u Vrhniki-1. oklopna brigada (12 vozila) i dvije baterije (12 vozila) u 228. moto brigadi u Pivki.

I ako vremešan ZSU 57/2 je odličan oklopnjak, odnosno samohodna haubica na telu tenka T-54. I ako mu je prevashodno namena da štiti oklopne jedinice od protivničke avijacije pokazao se odlično i u dejstvu na ciljeve na zemlji.

Evo još malo o ZSU. Gadno je kad opali nekoliko zrna u radionici, po krovu i zidu. Događa se.

Broker, samo par ispravki:
- Nije samohodna haubica, nego top.
- nije na šasiji T-54, ima 4 potporna točka i slabiji oklop.

Svojevremeno sam prisustvovao poslednjem gađanju ciljeva u vazdušnom prostoru koji su izveli ovi topovi (Pasuljanske livade, maj/jun '98.). Samo dejstvo oruđa je moćno i upečatljivo ali su rezultati gađanja krajnje razočaravajući. Podrška jedinicama na zemlji je jedina stvar koju ovaj top može da obavlja, sve ostalo je s/f.

Svojevremeno sam prisustvovao poslednjem gađanju ciljeva u vazdušnom prostoru koji su izveli ovi topovi (Pasuljanske livade, maj/jun '98.). Samo dejstvo oruđa je moćno i upečatljivo ali su rezultati gađanja krajnje razočaravajući. Podrška jedinicama na zemlji je jedina stvar koju ovaj top može da obavlja, sve ostalo je s/f.
Ovo vozilo je bilo zastarelo još početkom 60-ih.
Manjak sistema za upravljanje vatrom je bio glavni problem, pa sporo okretanje kupole.
Inače sa jakom granatom, bllizinskim upaljačem, velikom brzinom vatre, uz SUV bi bio vrlo ozbiljno oruđe.
Mislim da su vozila u JNA početkom 90-ih bila na kraju resursa, pa nisu puno ni korištena, a ni modernizacija nije bila isplativa.

Cevi su bile istrosene a nije bio efikasan za PVO i zasto su vec pocetkom 90-tih bili predvidjeni za penzionisanje.

Kao sto neko rece nedostatak kvalitetnog SUV-a i moderne granate, male brzine gadjanja su glavni nedostaci ovog sistema.

Da su imali vise resursa verovatno bi se isplatilo da se ugradi moderan SUV.

Mada ako pogledamo unazad u VJ (VSCG) nije uradjena nikakva modernizacija ni jednog sredstva za PVO od pocetka 90 do 99.

A i u VS to ide dosta kilavo i sporo a prica se jos od 99 da je prioritet na modernizaciji PVO-a.

Bas me interesuje kako bi bilo da nije prioritet Smiley

Da ne bude zabune, nisam baš ni ja bio potpuno jasan. Nisam mislio na njegovu upotrebu u budućnosti već sam naveo kako je upravo tako početkom odnosno sredinom 90-tih imao dobrih rezultata u dejstvu na ciljeva na zemlji, to su bile specifične okolnosti gde je ovaj oklopnjak sadejstvovao sa drugim oklopnjacima između ostalih i sa tenkom M-84.

Sve u svemu, za muzej i topionicu. Svaka modernizacija (i sada, a i onda) bi bila besmislena i žestoko nerentabilna, što se tiče i uloženih (bačenih) sredstava i krajnjeg proizvoda te modernizacije.
