Anyone knows models were the Depth Charges in RYN? or at least the country origin?

Is this a Dubrovnik depth charge?

It's certainly looks like ... As far as I know, Dubrovnik had 4 depth charge thrower. I have no exact information what type ...

But to assume that RYN was in possesion of depth charges of Wickers type for they torpedo boats of Thornycroftu type, I guess that same manufacturer was used for the procurement of depth chages for Dubrovnik ...

Of course this is pure speculation in the absence of accurate information ...

Archives of the RYN are mainly scattered in various institutions and museums ... There is no single database in to which you can find all in one place ... A large part of the documentation was destroyed in World War II.

You could try to contact the naval museum in Split (Vojno-pomorski muzej Split) ... Or you could wait the answer here with us on Paluba ... Maybe someone will know the answer

Thanks Motorista , Yes it seems similar to that model but most resemble each other. I should had a database of Depth charges photos. I also wondered since it could be an Austro-Hungarian model or even made in Yugoslavia since Yugoslavia made aerial bombs the issue would been only the pressure fuze.

Is it know what other Royal Yugoslav ships had depth charges besides destroyers?  For example did ex.Austro-Hungarian Torpedo Boats had them?
I know that Italians have put Depth Charges in them.

RYN in 1937. on 30.July have 22 dept charges type '' Vickers '' purchased in Great Britain.  For destroyer Dubrovnik 10 and for MTB 12 dept charges.
Later 25th March 1941. received anti submarines depth charges type '' Šebetić '', made in Yugoslav factory.

Wow  excellent. Never heard before of those '' Šebetić '' depth charges, any data about them 50kg, 100kg?

22 depth charges seems very low, maybe some Austro-Hungarian around too? Do you know any for the Beograd class? It is cleary shown in photos and drawings a DC rail at back curiosly similar to British rails.

30th June 1924, it took place the signature of a contract for the supply of 25 torpedoes and
10 launching tubes to Yugoslavia (fig. 14), which then, happened to be the first
foreign customer of the Stabilimenti Whitehead Societŕ di Esercizio, being at the
same  time,  the  29 th nation  to  have  purchased  torpedoes  from  the  company
originally  founded  by  Robert  Whitehead.  The  torpedoes  sold  were  not  of  new
type, but pertained to a previous sale to the Russian Navy finalised in 1912-13,
referring to 248 torpedoes of 450 mm. of diameter, 5,5 m. of length, warhead with
100 Kg. of trotyl explosive and exploder with net-cutter, two horizontal cylinders
propulsion  motor,  air  heater  with  water  injection,  speed  of  43  knots  over  a
distance of 2.000 m. and 31 knots for a distance of 6.000 m.
