Primorski dobrovoljci u borbi za slovensku sjevernu granicu pod komandom Rudolfa Maistra dali su značajan doprinos u borbama na štajersko-koroškom vojištu.
Najviše ih je bilo u Tržaškem bataljonu (500 boraca) i Planinskom puku (300 boraca)

Slike su iz knjige Primorski prostovoljci v boju za severno mejo, koju je napisao učesnik tih događaja Vladimir Gradnik, uključen je bio u prvi slovenski puk Nanos, 1931 završio visokku vojnu akademiju i do 1956 predavatelj na vojnoj akademiji u Beogradu. Zanimljivo videti uniformiranost, daleko od toga da je bila gruča seljaka, bande koja se skupila. Opis slika je u imenu.
