Kazu da je prvi postavljen kod Stanpit Marshes - to mora biti bas taj prvi; jos uvijek u funkciji.

Ima ih jos uvijek u funkciji po cijelom svijetu.

Da to je taj prvi ikada postavljeni Bejli. Tu fotografiju sam vec okacio i nesto napisao o njemu ali je ovo daleko kvalitetnija slika. Svaka cast.

U nastavku ide pregled svih elemenata lansirnog mosta Bejli.

Nisam se trudio da ista prevodim posto postoje natpisi na 1-3 jezika, a pored toga mozda se prevod ne bi poklopio sa nasim zvanicnim nazivima elemenata.

Jedna zanimljivost u vezi mosta.

Sir Donald Bejli je po zavrsetku rata podneo zahtev za patentiranje mosta. Medjutim posto je u vreme kada je projektovao most bio zaposlen u ministarstvu energetike patent po zakonu nije mogao biti pripisn njemu vec ministarstvu. Ipak je kao kompenzaciju 1948.godine dobio nagradu za pronalazak u iznosu od 12.000 funti. Kada je platio razne takse i poreze od tog iznosa nu je ostalo oko 4.500 funti.

Posto se penzionisao ziveo je u Bornmotu. Oni koji su ga poznavali kao komsiju kazu da je bio skroman i nenametljiv. Mnogi od njih su se iznenadili da im je komsija neko ko ima vitesku titulu. Ali to nisu saznali od Bejlija posto on nije hteo da koristi moguce privilegije.

Ipak ni ovaj most nije svemoguc.

Ovo je danasnja fotografija iz Brodareva gde je LIM srusio Bejli most.

Ipak rekao bih da je ovde popustila potpora te da je zbog toga popustila i konstrukcija.

Kod mene u komšiluku, prije par godina kad je bila poplava skinula ga je sa nosećih stubova i odnijela nekih 100 metara nizvodno, ali to nebi bilo ništa neobčno da most nije stajao uspravno zabijen u mulj, žao mi je što sam ostao bez tih fotografija (crko hard disk)

  Privremeno će umesto Bejli mosta u Brodarevu postaviti pontonski most. Juče je otišla ekipa iz Novog Sada sa potrebnom opremom. Za sada imaju problem s malom dubinom a velikom brzinom vode. Zabrinuti su da ne oštete remorkere.

E, to sam ja imao problem na kanalu kod Morovica. Mora dubina zbog spustanja i vadjenja remorkera da bude najmanje 1,5 (ako se ne varam) i da dno bude cvrsto, inace moze da se desi da remorker krmom nalegne na dno i da ne moze ni da isplovi ni da se izvuce van. Zbog toga je, po naredjenju sefova, na mom remorkeru probio dihtung na glavi motora, doduse nismo imali tezih ostecenja korita i motora. Sve je nastalo kao posledica nemogucnosti isplovljavanja zbog naleganja krme, ipak smo uspeli to nekako da izvedemo ali posledica je dihtung, posle smo ga zbog male dubine jedva izvukli napolje posto nije bilo dovoljno duboko da se spuste tockovi.

  Baš tako mi je i objasnio brat. A i kod većeg gasa krma ima veći trim, pa još dok gura članak tone i više.
