Postavljam ono sto sam sakupio od brodova Mediteranske plovidbe iz Korčule

Prvo stari brodovi

Mediteranska Plovidba bought her in October 1959 for line service to U.K.

Mediteranska plovidba iz Korčule nastala je sredinum pedesetih godina mahom od pomoraca iz mjesta Račišće. Ovo mjesto je prije rata i netom nakon rata imalu lijepu flotu trabakula kojom su razvozili teret po cijelom Jadranu.
Nakon rata su im većinom oduzeli i nacionalizirali brodove i poslove.

Mediteranska plovidba je zapocela sa malim brodićima i trabakulima ono što su im očevi i djedovi radili sto godina prije.
Polako su je firma počela širiti poslove u području velike obalne plovidbe, tj. na Sredozemlju.

Nabavljani su veći brodovi kao što su Račišće, Blato, Janjina (tko ima sliku neka postavi),

a kasnije tri blizanca Varaždin, Kruševac i još jedan čijeg se imana ne sijećam (nabavljeni od Slobodne plovidbe iz Šibenika (Brodarski zna sigurno). Zatim su došli Korčula koja je kupljena od Atlanske (brod blizanac poznatijeg Cavtata), Pobjeda (iz trojca Bratstvo, Sloboda i Pobjeda), Ploče (tko ima sliku molio bih da je postavi). Moguće da sam koji brod ispustio, ali Forum Palube je mjesto gdje se izgubljeno može nadoknaditi .

Korčula
Croatian cargo ship built 1968. in Trogir, served on the line Adriatic - WCUK for almost 16 years. Next 6 years she was employed in Mediterranean trade for the other Croatian company (Mediteranska plovidba), but under the same name. Unlike her sistership Cavtat, she managed to survive full 31 years before broken up at Mumbai. Photo at Swansea at the end of 70's by capt. POBJEDA
Delivered from 3.Maj, Rijeka ( newbuilding 434 )on 26th September, 1958 as second in series of three sisterships ( others were Bratstvo and Sloboda ).
LOA 94,35, B 13,30 D 5,51. 1818 BRT, 794 NRt, 2337 DWT. Engine Sulzer 3000 BHP, speed 14,7 knots. Sold in May 1971 to Mediteranska plovidba Korčula ( your company, Bartul ). Resold 1980 to Beogradska Plovidba. In 1982. sold again, this time to Lindhurst Financial Corp. On 15th December, 1982 caught fire whilst in port of Huelva. Declared as CTl, few months later scrapped there.

Sredinom 60-tih godina mladi Jugoslaveni su počeli jesti banane i ostalo južno voće. Po nekim političkim i inim vezama Mediteranska je bila ta koja je prva uvela u sastav flote brodove za prijevoz rashladnih tereta. Radilo sa usko povezano sa firmom Voće iz Zagreba koje je sklapalo ugovore za prijateljskim zemljama Afrike i Kube, te su joj trebali brodovi.
Tako je Mediteranska nabavila stare, skoro već islužene hladnjače Agrum, Voće, Plod i Marko Polo.

Built 1949 Oresundvarvet A/B, Landskrona as domestic GLOMDAL. LOA 103,83 LBP 96,01 B 14,33 D 8,94 draft 6,17m. Main engine A/B Gotaverken, Goteborg 3650 BHP, speed 14,0. BRT 3128 NRT 1662 DWT 3030, grain 161000 cbf. Derricks 4x4, 2x3 and 2x2,5 tons SWL. Sold in 1956 and became ALSTERKAMP for Sloman, Hamburg. Mediteranska Plovidba bought her in September 1964 and used till August 1973, when vessel arrived at Sveti Kajo to be scrapped.

Kasnije su došle prinove Jadran Frigo (kažu da je bio najbrži brod u jugoslavenskoj floti), Otrant Frigo, ali i prve novogradnje iz Splita – Račišće, Dalmacija Frigo, Mediteran Frigo, Atlantik Frigo, Pacifik Frigo, Lady Račišće i Lady Korčula.

Kasnije će se ispostaviti da su uprave novogradnje Dalmacija Frigo i Mediteran Frigo uništile firmu. Naime ti brodovi su bili naručeni u Splitu od strane nekog grčkog brodara, koji ih nije mogao platiti. Pošto je Mediteranska jedina u Jugoslaviji imala takve brodove, a i brod polu-blizanac Račišće (razlikovao se u tome sto je imao dizalice i drugi tip glavnog porivnog stroja), političari su naložili Mediteranskoj da kupu ta dva broda. Mediteranska je 1983. i 1984., kao i skoro sve tadašnje firme u Jugoslaviji, uzela kredit od onog libanonskog lihvara, šjor Diab-a. I tako je jadna Mediteranska dobila brodove probleme i velike kredite na leđima. Oba broda su imali MAN strojeve koji su godinama bili rak-rana (isto je bilo Atlanskoj sa Mljetom i još nekim brodarima koji su tih godina gradili u Splitu i imali iste strojeve).
Diab je tako za ta dva brodanakon skoro dvadeset godina dobio dvije novogradnje (Lady Račišće i Lady Korčula), te brod Pacifik Frigo, a ostatak duga je Mediteranska plaćala donedavno.

Lady Račišće i Lady Korčula kao i Pacifik Frigo (danas pod drugim imenom) u managementu je Korkyra Shipping-a, male firme iz Korčule., sve bivši zaposlenici posrnule Mediteranske.

Nije. Bila je brod Dalmatinske plovidbe Vela Luka.
I o tome cu nesto napisati. Naime na obje plovidbe sam navigao.

Osim brodova za rashladne terete (Reefer-a), Mediteranska je krajem 80-tih nabavila nekoliko višenamjenskih brodova i krenula u avanturu trampa na svjetskom tržištu. Bili su to brodovi Blato, Korkyra, Kućište, kasnije i Oceantramp.
U prvoj polovini 90-tih Mediteranska za ove brodove nalazi partnera u hamburškom poslovnom čovjeku, Herr Diemter-u. Brodovi su preimenovani u Supertramp (Kućište), Startramp (Korkyra), a Oceantramp je kupljen zajedničkim sredstvima.

Oba trajekta su još u eksploataciji. Dominče je nakon prošlogodišnje havarije i prodora vode oglašen na prodaju.
Mediteranska trazi kredit za kupnju modernijeg trajekta koji bi zamjenio oba starca.

Uz ova dva trajekta Mediteranska ima i dva mala putnička broda za pruge Orebić - Korčula.

Mediteranska je imala i tankere-vodonosce.
Zapadni dio otoka Korčule je dobio tekuću vodu još 1959. godine. Jedan od prvih vodovoda (ako ne i prvi na Jadranskim otocima). Tim vodovodom je riješeno pitanje snabdijevanja vodom Blata, Vele Luke i Smokvice, ali ne i istočnih naselja zajedno sa gradom Korčulom.
Zbog toga se javila potreba za nabavkom vodonosaca.
Ovi brodovi su 20-tak godina razvozili vodu iz uvale Bristva, te sa izvora Neretve na Korčulu, Lastovo i Mljet.

Ovo Račišće Mediteranske plovidbe, Dalmatinsku plovidbu Šibenik i Slobodnu plovidbu Šibenik povezuje isti izvor.

Evo malo dodataka i ispravaka.

1. Zemun (serija Zemun, Varazdin i Krusevac)

1969 renamed Kaprije 1976 again Zemun for Medplov-Korcula,brocken up Sveti Kajo-Split april 84.

Ponovo ispravka - rijec je o seriji brodova Zemun, Varazdin i Pirot, a ne Krusevac kako sam prije navodio.

i ja sam čuo priču iz prve ruke o jadran frigu i sidru u španjolskoj, havariji makine itd
