Nitko o tome nije znao.
Medjutim, nakon ove informacije, slucajno sam na topiku :
http://forum.armyairforces.com/m55671-print.aspxdosao do sljedeceg podatka :
- On 22th August (1944) capt Radosavljevic crew took part in assault on underground oil storage tanks near Lobau, east of Vienna. It was a jubilee, the 200th mission of the 512th BS, in which members of Yugoslav Detachment participated. Crew achived good effect by four 1 000lb(aproh 450kg) bombs, but there would be no reasons for celebration, as tragedy struck on return flight.
Liberator No. 31 (44-40502), under command of american 1st Marshall N. Stickel, hit over the target by several heavy shots, started lagging behind formation. Solidarity of other crews in such events was in no doubt. Formation leader reduced engine power, slowed and descended, giving his mate opportunity to join the formation. Just before crossing Adriatic coast, 1stLT Stickel, unable to cope with damaged plane, asked via radio Yugoslav fellows if they were over liberated territory.
Capt. Radosavljevic, trough his havigator Capt. Pavlovic, answered affirmative. Quickly Liberator No. 31 pulled up slightly and sled to starbroad wing.
Exactly at 11.49, while flying at 12,800ft( aprox 3900meters), no 31 was seen to cilide in mid-air with No. 20. Right wing and propellers of No.31 cut the tail and fuselage and broke the left wing of the Yugoslav Liberator. Both aircraft toppled down some 20km NW of Sinj, Yugoslavia. Only one man from each plane bailed out
Only Yugoslav survivor was 2nd Lt. Vojin Stojkovic, who by real miracle succeeded to get out of the tail turret. Before he touched the ground on Dinara mauntineside, he sighted another parashute, most probably of some american flyers, who was driffted by the wind west of Cetina river in area held by Nazi Germans and Ustashy Croatians.
Stojkovic heard shoots being fired, and as he understood from his rescuers conversation, the flyer was killed.

iako postoji greska u lokaciji "NW of Sinj", a treba biti "NE of Sinj", kasnije je u tekstu to evidentno.
jest OT, ali me povuklo.
