- ROKAF receives three more F-15K Slam Eagles.

- The Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) has received three F-15K Slam Eagle jet fighters at Daegu Air Base, South Korea.
ROKAF 11th Fighter Wing Commander of the 110th Squadron Lieutenant Colonel Tae Uk Kim said the F-15K was one of the most important assets in defence of the peninsula.
The delivery forms part of the next fighter II contract, under which the ROKAF received the first six of 21 F-15Ks in 2010, followed by two in April and two more in May this year.
ROKAF is scheduled to receive the remaining eight aircraft through April 2012.
The Boeing-built F-15K Slam Eagles are advanced variants of the F-15E, and are equipped with the latest technological upgrades.
With technology insertions and upgrades throughout its lifecycle, the aircraft is planned to be operational until 2040.

Slam Eagles je napredna varijanta F-15E i opremljena posleddnjim tehnološkim dostignućima (nadogradnjom). Sa tehnologijom primenjenom i modernizacijom tokom životnog ciklusa, ovaj avion (F-15K) planira se da bude u operativnoj upotrebi do 2040.
