Dva hladnoratovska suparnika iznad Jadrana, jedan tip leti i dalje dok je drugi u penziji [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] Mislim da je to slikano kasnije, možda griješim, čini mi se, da Mig ima na repu HR grb, a da su bili suparnici u vrijeme "hladnog rata" to stoji.

Da naravno slika je iz 90'-ih, no bilo je susreta sa Žabarima tj. sa njihovim "Starfighterima" i početkom 70'-ih i naganjanja preko Jadrana.

Naleteo na zanimljivo razmišljanje bivšeg Nemačkog pilota F-104 [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ] “Better than...!”
I was a pilot of the German Luftwaffe in the 70-ties for a short period of time. My father flew Bf 109 in the WWII 1944/45.
I have flown with English, American, Italian, Swedish, Canadian and Turkish pilots. All these airborne forces flew the F 104 from Lockheed. I have personally learned that a plane is only the tool of a pilot. It really depends on how much experience, knowledge and courage a pilot wants to fly his plane.
An aircraft system consists of hundreds of factors that do not come from the dashboard. Maintenance, gasoline, rubber, gaskets, screws, carburetor, electronics, suspension, hydraulics and much more. Here Germany lost the war. In planning, tactics and leadership. Not with the pilots and the ME or FW.
In the personalities of the pilots lies the big difference of the combat unit man-plane. How far is a pilot going to his limits and how far does he go when he fights for his life?
The stupid discussions which were the better fighter aircraft are superfluous. The Luftwaffepiloten had to fly much more hours and came with experience from Spain. The Allied pilots were trained by experienced pilots and were in the excess.
The Spitfire, P 51 Focke Wulf 190 and the Bf109 were different but none was bad. It depended on the situation and the talent of the pilots, who in the end won.
Later, as a biker, I have experienced it again. I „won“ against almost every BMW with my Harley Davidson Road King in the Swiss mountains. Why? Because I knew the roads, the mountains and my bike with its limits. And I observed my oponents way of driving before I „attacked“ him.
Never underestimate; 1942 fought the British in their sky for their country and so did the Germans 1944/45. Today everybody knows in what condition the Luftwaffe was at the end of war and how close the RAF was to loose the battle for their country.

Германците не го сакаја ф-104 тие го сакаја ракетниот британски авиони но одлуката на еден германски министер за одбрна и премиер беа набавени ф-104 па тука се појави афера дека локид си платил за лобирање кај германската влада.
