Hi,
Last week I received the book @War #5; 'The Yugoslav Air Force - in the battles for Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina 1991-1992 [Volume 1]. This book is written by Aleksander Radić and is a real masterpiece.
The book has a serial (+ order of battle) overview of all operational JRV i PVO aircraft on 27 June 1991. It even has a serial overview of all the aircraft at the Zmaj Works, Soko Works and Moma Stanojlović Works on 27 June 1991.
The following Iraqi aircraft are listed at the Zmaj Works; MiG-21bis: 21168, 21174, 21177, 21186, 21190, 21198, 21204 and 21206 MiG-23ML: 23252, 23260, 23267, 23269, 23272, 23278, 23279, 23288, 23290 and 23292
Overhaul on these aircraft was suspended in August 1990. Except for MiG-23ML 23269, all aircraft were evacuated by road to Batajnica AB. MiG-21bis 21168, 21198 and 21204 were handed over to 126th fighter aviation squadron in early July 1991.
Some sources report MiG-23ML 23282 instead of 23272. Who can confirm which of the two is correct?
Regrads, Jeroen
