Title: Old Uniform
Post by: luclor97 on June 07, 2010, 08:09:36 pm
Hello,
I cannot find  in which corps an ancestor of mine served as military and
where,  even if  I have the picture of his  uniform (see attached file)
He was Giuseppe Francesco de Walderstein born in 1891 in Castel Racizze
(Buzet) and died in 1948 in Murska Sobota. I didn't find the papers of
military service and so I don't have any information about his military
service ...
How can I find these information on his uniform?
Was he a graduate? Non-commissioned officer ...?
I think the photo is dated around 1920-1925 ...
I would be very grateful for your help.

Regards
Luciano Garbi        (from Italy)

Ciao!

Saluti!

Hi,
thanks for your answer.
I really know nothing about my great grandfather except for his birth, death date and where he is buried...

A my idea is that he worked with that uniform (maybe in Murska Sobota?)...

Where could his name be recorded? Maybe in the Police archives? Where?

Is there someone who can help me to verify if his name is found somewhere in Slovenia ?

Thanks

A presto...
