Pravi komandant ratnog broda je valjda prvo pomorac, pa onda sve ostalo. Rommel je izvršio samoubistvo kad se otkrilo da je učestvovao u zaveri protiv Hitlera. Moelders je takođe ubijen kao protivnik Hitlera.

Moelders je takođe ubijen kao protivnik Hitlera. Ispravka - Komandant Bismark-a je bio kbb Ernst Lindemann. Luetjens je bio ukrcan na Bismark-u kao zapovjednik flote, ali ujedno i zapovjednik grupe Bismark-Prinz Eugen. Cilj je bio da se sjedine sve teske snage njemacke mornarice u Atlantiku. U vrijeme pokusaja proboja grupe Bismark-Prinz Eugen, u Brestu su vec bili bojni krstasi Scharnhorst i Gneisenau.
