Srušio se američki borbeni avion, poginuo pilot


26.03.2009.
Najsavremeniji američki borbeni avion F-22 Raptor srušio se na jugu kalifornijske pustinje. Pilot je poginuo, javio je BBC.

F-22 Raptor

F-22 Raptor, koji se smatra jednim od najsofisticiranijih borbenih aviona u svetu, bio je na probnom letu kada se srušio u blizini vazdušne baze "Edvards". Pilot-veteran je poginuo, a uzroci pada aviona za sada su nejasni.
Američke vazdušne snage su navele da je ova letelica "pouzdanija i lakša za održavanje od bilo koje druge u istoriji".

Ipak, program F-22 Raptor, vredan 65 milijardi dolara, naišao je na kritike, čiji zastupnici tvrde da je ovaj avio "preterano skup i nedovoljno postojan".
 
Ovo je, prema navođenju vazdušnih snaga SAD, druga avionska nesreća u koju je uključen F-22. Prvi incident dogodio se u decembru 2004. godine, tokom probnog leta, kada je pilot uspeo da se evakuiše, podsetio je BBC.

Ovo Amerikancima u ovom trenutku nikako nije trebalo, pa još i pilot da pogine.

Dejvik Kuli, Lokidov test pilot star 49 godina. Ima 20 godina iskustva u USAF-u.

Izgleda da je pilot pokušao da prizemi aparat uprkos problemima. Naime, avion je pao na ravničarsko dno isušenog Harper jezera koje inače služi i kao rezervna pista za sletanje šatla.

Pad F-22 greška pilota

Istražna komisija je zaključila da je pad aviona F-22 koji se desio u martu ove godine uzrokovan greškom pilota koji je izgubio svest usled visokog g-opterećenja nakon tri uzastopna manevra, nakon čega je avion izgubio visinu i našao se u oštrom poniranju. Pilot je poginuo odmah nakon katapultiranja zato što je u trenutku katapultiranja brzina bila preko 165 čvorova iznad dozvoljene za tip sedišta koji se koristi na F-22, ACES II.

A Lockheed Martin test pilot died in an F-22 Raptor crash on 25 March because he lost control of the aircraft while struggling to maintain consciousness after performing a high-g maneouvre, the US Air Force announced on 31 July.

The pilot, 49-year-old David Cooley, was killed instantly when he ejected at 1,188m (3,900ft), or only 1.49 seconds before the Lockheed-made jet struck the ground digging a 6.1m crater, according to the accident investigation board's (AIB) report.

Cooley ejected with the Raptor still in a steep dive at Mach 1.3. At that speed, the F-22 exceeded the survivable limit by about 165kts for the advanced concept ejection seat (ACES) II, the report said.

While gathering data for a captive carriage test of an undisclosed weapon, Cooley performed the same high-g maneouvre three times in a row. Upon the third manoeuvre, Cooley experienced a physiological reaction known as "almost g-induced loss of consciousness" or A-LOC.

Cooley appeared to remain conscious throughout the flight, but during four critical seconds he lost the ability pull out of a high-g dive.

By the time Cooley recovered from A-LOC, the aircraft was in an extremely steep, supersonic dive and at 4,267m mean sea level.

"Within seconds, he found himself in an unrecoverable aircraft attitude," wrote Maj Gen David Eidsaune, the AIB president.

The USAF investigation also determined that the F-22 and all of its systems had been maintained properly and were not factors in the crash.
