Jeroen Nijmeijer:
Hi,

Has any new information surfaced in recent years about Jastreb deliveries to Zambia?

I know that 10 J-1Z (1971-1973) and three NJ-1Z (1976) were delivered.

Research most likely yielded the three NJ-1Z construction numbers; namely c/n 001-003. These fit exactly with the JNA NJ-21 series. I have posted an overview below that clearly shows this.

C/n (# = assumed)   Mfd   Country   Model   S/n   delivery   Unit (jun1991) / Remarks

020 #   c_dec76   Yugoslavia (†)   NJ-21   23517   unknown   wfu by 1991 (crashed?)
021   c_dec76   Yugoslavia (†)   NJ-21   23518   unknown   242nd Fighter-Bomber Aviation Squadron (Titograd); to Bosnia (RS)The first four J-1Z most likely have construction numbers 048-051 or 050-053. If we have identified the c/n of 24146 and 24147, we can rule out matters regarding the first four J-1Z construction numbers. The other six J-1Z construction numbers are most likely between 089 and 101.
