A koliko je to bila "dobra" ili bolje rečeno "opasna" zverka u to vreme?

Ne baš puno. Daleko loši od Harriera i više je to bio avijon za dizanje morala ili zavaravanje neprijatelja nego za neki praktički rat.

Pa... ne bih se u potpunosti složio s tobom, janezek. Istina je da je Jak-38 patio od niza nedostataka ali nikako nije bio "prazna puška".
Najveće mane su mu bile mala nosivost i mali dolet, a i bio je komplikovan sa čak tri turbomlazna motora u sebi, koji su se, povrh svega, jogunasto ponašali u toplijim i tropskim krajevima.
S druge strane, pilotirali su ih vrhunski piloti koji su iz mašina izvlačili maksimum. Jak-38 je imao svoje mjesto i ulogu i zadatke koje je uspješno izvršavao. Kako bi se zaista pokazao u nekom sukobu, nikada nećemo saznati. Jeste bio lošiji od Harijera (po performansama, na papiru), ali ni Rusi nisu toliko glupi da godinama koriste nešto baš beskorisno. Imali su oni čime dizati moral i bez Jak-ova.
Uvjek sam imao osjećaj da su Rusi, što se tiče Jak-38, to mogli puno bolje da urade i da je Jak-38 tek neko prelazno, privremeno rješenje.
