|
Mladi redovnik je stigao u samostan. Dodijeljen je da pomaže ostalim redovnicima kopirati prepisujući stare propovjedi i zakone.
Primijetio je, da uvijek svi redovnici prepisuju iz kopija a ne iz originalnih svitaka. I tako novi redovnik ode do glavešine samostana da ga pita zašto se ne prepisuje iz originalnih svitaka, ukazujući na to da je netko mogao samo malo pogriješiti ili nešto propustiti u kopijama, pa čak i u onoj prvoj napravljenoj, to nebi bilo nikada ispravljeno! U stvari, ta bi greška bila uvijek prepisivana u svim daljnjim kopijama.
Glavešina samostana reče, "Stoljećima smo prepisivali s kopija, ali si to dobro primjetio."
Otišao je dolje u mračne ćelije ispod samostana gdje su bili originalni rukopisi arhivirani i čuvani u zaključanom sefu, a izgledali su kao da nisu bili otvoreni stotinama godina.
Sati su prolazili, a nitko nije vidio starog glavešinu samostana . . .
Mladi se redovnik zamislio, i otišao potražiti starog glavešinu dolje u mraćne ćelije samostana. Vidjeo ga je kako udara glavom o zid i kuka.
"Promaklo nam je R ! Promaklo nam je R !
Promaklo nam je R !"
Prednji dio glave mu je bio krvav, krv se niz lice sljevala, a on je nekontrolirano plakao. Mladi redovnik je pitao starog glavešinu, "Što je tako loše Oče?"
Škripavim, prepuklim glasom mu odgovori stari glavešina, "Riječ je bila...
"CELEB(R)ATE !!! " (Slavlje)
a ne celebate (celibat - bezženstvo)
