Severnoj Koreji preti opasnost od gladi

Seul - Organizacija UN za humanitarnu pomoć u hrani upozorila je da milionima građana Severne Koreje preti opasnost od gladi, ali su zvaničnici iz Južne Koreje saopštili da Seul još uvek nije odlučio da li da odgovori na zahtev komunističke zemlje za pomoć u hrani.

Gotovo 2,7 miliona ljudi na zapadnoj obali Severne Koreje ostaće ovog meseca bez hrane, navodi se u nedavno objavljenom izveštaju Svetskog programa za hranu (WFP).
Severna Koreja se oslanjala na humanitarnu pomoć da bi prehranila 23 miliona svojih građana, pošto su prirodne katastrofe i loše rukovodstvo razorili centralizovanu privredu te zemlje sredinom 1990-ih. Procenjuje se da je od gladi umrlo dva miliona ljudi. Situacija u zemlji, kada je reč o oskudici hrane, pogoršala se ove godine nakon pogubnih poplava 2007.

Trenutno je najgora situacija u gradu Congdzinu (Chongjin), gde upravo treba da se oformi ispostava svetskog programa za hranu, kao i u gradu Hamhung. To su industrijski gradovi, koji nisu okruzeni obradivim zemljistem, a zabrana plovidbe otvorenim morem zbog straha od prebega, sprecava ribarenje u vecem obimu, tako da i to doprinosi gladi. Stavise, situacija sa hranom je toliko teska da cak i vojska oseca glad, i to sve vise. Pristizu izvestaji da vojnici sve intenzivnije idu u pljacku useva po selima.

To su vrlo loši znaci.Sada bi stvarno bio najgori momenat da ostanu bez dragog vodje.Nastao bi totalni haos...

Pa vec jeste totalni haos, vec su doterali cara do duvara... Nekada nezamislive pojave, poput piraterje, drumskog razbojnistva, prodaje CD-ova sa juznokorejskim sapunicama su vec uveliko uzele maha... Sada, najvaznija institucija u Severnoj Koreji nije vise partija, vec jangmadang, sto na korejskom znaci pijaca...

Officer Defects Because of Hopeless Situation in North Korea

“Not just the soldiers but the officers are also discontent… In the army, soldiers are advised not to have conversation in groups larger than two. If more than two start talking they always end up criticizing the state.”

The 4th issue of “NK In & Out” published by the Network for North Korean Democracy and Human Rights (NKnet) depicted that North Koreans are more and more discontent with the regime.

During an interview with NKnet, a former North Korean People’s Army officer who defected to China described the hopeless and desperate lives of North Koreans. “This year, there were some people who starved to death even in Pyongyang where I served, let alone countryside… There is no food distribution. The situation in [North] Korea is hopeless so I decided to defect.”

However, lives of the soldiers in the army were described to be better despite poor salary and lack of supplies. “For every soldier, 230g of corn was distributed per meal. Side dishes included three or four pieces of salted radish and cabbage soup. Officers receive half-rice half-corn meal but side dishes are same” he added.

“Although there were no deaths due to starvation, many died from diseases after suffering malnutrition in the army hospital… When I was in the army, 30 to 40 out of 120 soldiers of a company were diagnosed as malnourished. This year’s food distribution was again reduced because of last year’s flood and even more soldiers will suffer from malnourishment.”

Despite the destitute food situation, barracks had electricity 18 hours a day and every soldier had a bed and a locker, NK In & Out reported. There was even a DVD player in each soldiers barrack which was used for educational purposes. But despite education on morality soldiers continue to rob civilians due to lack of food distribution. “Because of the tenuous food situation, soldiers are always angry and desperate. So it is very hard to control them.”

“NK In & Out” further reported that despite education on morality, beatings and corruption still exist in the North Korean army.

Kim S. (31) who was interviewed by NKnet was enlisted in 1995 and commissioned after graduating from an officer candidate school. He had served as an officer for six years until this May. He defected to China in September and is now hiding in a safe place in China. When asked about his future plans, he answered, “I don’t know yet… but for sure, I won’t go back to [North] Korea.”

Shenyang, China -- A gunfight on October 22nd between train security agents and soldiers in Manpo, a border town across the Yalu River from Jian, China caused six deaths, it has emerged.

A source from Yangkang Province reported in a telephone conversation with the Daily NK that, “On the 22nd of last month, in Manpo Station a gunfight between the train security agents (who act as both conductor and law enforcement on the trains in North Korea) and soldiers broke out and six died. Meanwhile, it was pandemonium around the station while passengers waiting for trains and residents stampeded from the place and several other persons were hurt.”

According to the source, the train service between Hyesan and Manpo was cancelled due to a power cut, so enough passengers for two trains were crowded in the station on the day of the incident.

At the time, the wife of an officer with a baby on her back tried to get on a train and a conductor held her back. Although she explained that her husband had already boarded the train, taking their luggage and her train ticket, too. The conductor did not believe her, since it is a common excuse for a free ride.

While they were quarreling with each other, the train started leaving and the woman tried to hang on, but the conductor pushed her out. She finally swung around the end of the carriage, down onto the railroad, was hit by the train and was killed with her baby.

Her husband, an officer, eventually worked his way to the place of the incident and, knowing the whole story, beat the agent to death. He died while surrounded by the crowd.

Upon witnessing this, other agents apparently shot the officer in a rage. One of the officer’s friends, another military officer, shot the other agent with his rifle; another agent witnessed the scene and promptly fired at the second officer. In the blink of an eye, Manpo Station is said to have descended into carnage.

“In an instant, in the midst of fairly indiscriminate shooting, six persons were dead and frightened people were pushing each other to escape the area; as a result dozens of people were wounded,” according to the source.

The source added that, “Due to this incident, the train between Hyesan, Yangkang Province and Manpo, Jagang Province was stopped for a while.”

Since North Korea started treated the Army preferentially under the Military-first Policy, conflicts between the military and the People’s Security Agency (which includes the agents on the trains) are getting ever more violent.

Severna Koreja objavila je danas fotografije bez datuma na kojima lider Kim Džong Il obilazi fabrike, u vreme spekulacija o njegovom zdravstvenom stanju.



Državna agencija KCNA javila je da je Kim pohvalio radnike i dao savete zaposlenima u fabrikama za proizvodnju kozmetike i alata, prenosi BBC.
Dve fabrike koje je severnokorejski lider obišao nalaze se u zapadnom gradu Sinuidžu, na granici sa Kinom, navodi se u agencijskom izveštaju.
Južnokorejski i američki zvaničnici tvrde da je Kim doživio moždani udar u avgustu, iako eksperti sumnjaju u pouzdanost informacija o tom događaju, koji demantuje i zvanični Pjongjang. U poslednje vreme objavljeno je mnoštvo fotografija, ali stručnjaci sumnjaju u autentičnost nekih.
Kim (66), koji pati od srčanih tegoba i dijabetesa, nije viđen ni na jednom velikom javnom skupu u poslednjih nekoliko meseci.
Severna Koreja saopštila je prošle godine da će odustati od svog nuklearnog programa u zamenu za pomoć i diplomatkse ustupke, ali je napredak ka gašenju njenog nuklearnog reaktora Jongbjon spor.

Pjongjang: Južna Koreja planirala da ubije Kima Džong Ila

Pjongjang je optužio Seul da je poslao agenta sa zadatkom da ubije severnokorejskog lidera Kima Džong-Ila.

Prema tvrdnjama Pjongjanga, južnokorejska obaveštajna služba obučila je jednog Severnokorejca, po imenu Ri, i početkom godine ga ubacila u Severnu Koreju, preneo je BBC.

Severnokorejska državna agencija KCNA je kasno sinoć javila da je agent, čiji je zadatak bio da otruje Kima, nedavno uhapšen zbog toga što je pokušao da izvede "terorističku misiju" kako bi "naudio vrhovnom vođi".

Južnokorejska obaveštajna služba je odbacila navode da je umešana u bilo kakvu zaveru protiv Kima.

Optužba Pjongjanga usledila je posle najnovijeg pogoršanja odnosa dveju zemalja i spekulacija u javnosti o Kimovom zdravstvenom stanju.
Kim (66), koji, navodno, pati od srca i dijabetesa, mesecima nije viđen na važnim događajima u javnosti.

Vesti o njegovoj bolesti pojavile su se u trenutku kada su nastavljeni međunarodni pregovori o severnokorejskom nuklearnom programu.

Pjongjang je prošle godine saopštio da će obustaviti nuklearni program u zamenu za pomoć i diplomatske ustupke, ali napredak u demontiranju glavnog nuklearnog postrojenja Jongbjon odvija se veoma sporo.

Otkad je prošle godine na čelo Južne Koreje došao Li Mjung-bak, odnosi dvoje suseda su ponovo zahladneli. Sever je optužio Lijevu vladu za "antisevernokorejske poteze".

Korean Puppet Plot-Breeding Group's Anti-DPRK Sabotage Moves Disclosed
 
Pyongyang, December 18 (KCNA) -- The moves of the puppet plot-breeding group of south Korea to sabotage the DPRK have recently reached an extremely reckless and dangerous phase. A spokesman for the Ministry of State Security of the DPRK issued a statement Thursday in this regard.

The statement said:

It is well known that traitor Lee Myung Bak totally negated the June 15 joint declaration and the October 4 declaration, great programmes for national reunification, and pushed the north-south relations to stalemate as soon as he came to power.

The evermore vicious moves to destabilize and bring down the DPRK are now being put into practice in such a despicable manner as to baffle human imagination behind the scene.

The puppet National Intelligence Service is now being reorganized into an all-powerful fascist plot-breeding mechanism little different from the "Central Intelligence Agency", which earned ill fame in the past, under the signboard of increasing its function. All the intelligence-gathering and plot-breeding organs in south Korea are now locked in the war minus gunfire against the DPRK.

Recently secret agents were routed while being active in the DPRK to carry out their missions to collect environmental samplings including soil, water, tree leaves and dust, etc. in the major munitions industrial areas in order to gather its nuclear-related information as instructed by a puppet intelligence-gathering and plot-breeding institution. Also checked and frustrated was the plot to gather party, state and military secrets and lure some officials working in important fields of the DPRK into defecting to other country after enlisting a corrupt Korean woman residing in China as a spy and letting her pay private visit to it to carry out the above-said mission.

The above-said ministry exposed and frustrated a plot to form a secret "underground church" with an eye to rally dishonest and hostile elements behind an organization under the guise of religion. It also checked and foiled one after another attempts to lure and abduct ex-convicts and corrupt elements and coax them into defecting to other country in a bid to set up a "centre" fabricating misinformation about "human rights abuses" in the DPRK.

The anti-DPRK broadcasting services and "the anti-north leaflet-scattering movement" financed by the puppet authorities have become more frantic in their operations.

The anti-DPRK smear campaign is not confined to this.

Shortly ago, a person surnamed Ri was discovered and arrested while being active to carry out the terrorist mission given by a south Korean puppet intelligence-gathering organization to do harm to the safety of the top leader of the DPRK.

According to the disclosure, he crossed the border in violation of the law and order early this year. He was absorbed by an agent surnamed Hwang serving an intelligence organ of south Korea who had the mission to rally dishonest elements after finding his way into an area near the border of the DPRK.

The south Korean puppet intelligence-gathering and plot-breeding institution let him undergo necessary training and go back to the area of the DPRK with the mission to gather information about the courses and the period of the field guidance by the top leader of the DPRK. The organization sent him speech and acoustic sensing and pursuit devices for tracking the movement of the top leader and even violent poison in the end.

This case goes to prove that the south Korean puppets have gone the lengths of resorting to thrice-cursed methods to dare harm the headquarters of the DPRK, hell-bent on inciting confrontation with the DPRK.

The weak are apt to employ such despicable terrorist method like a stray cat when they find themselves in an inferior position in the showdown with their rival in the political and military aspects.

The puppet terrorist and plot-breeding group, however, are going reckless, not aware of who their opponent is.

No one can be out of vigilant watch by the state security organ of the DPRK which has the single-minded unity of the people as the source of its invincible strength.

The enemies would be well advised to draw a lesson from the fact that their moves to spy, sabotage and destabilize the DPRK which have rapidly escalated this year have been exposed and frustrated one after another.

They are seriously mistaken if they think that the DPRK uses only shield as its weapon.

It is our duty and mission to ferret out and deal a merciless blow at anyone who dares give his eye-teeth for the headquarters of the Korean revolution no matter from where he makes such attempt.

Traitor Lee Myung Bak and his intelligence-gathering and terrorist group should clearly understand that the treasured sword of the state security organ of the DPRK, whose mission is to safeguard its leader, system and people as its life and soul, shows no mercy for the enemies.

Inače, Južna Koreja je odmah opovrgla ove navode, verovatno će ovo da posluži kao povod za zatvaranje industrijske zone u Kesongu.

Severnokorejski lider opet se pojavio u javnosti

Severnokorejski lider Kim Džong Il obišao je dve jedinice Korejske narodne armije, čime je broj njegovih pojavljivanja u javnosti ove godine porastao u odnosu na 2007. godinu, preneli su jutros državni mediji u Pjongjangu.

Državna agencija KCNA je navela da je Kim posetio sedište jedinice 323. i jedinicu 1017, iz sastava korejskih vazduhoplovnih snaga, u pratnji nekoliko visokih vojnih zvaničnika.

Kim (66), koji, navodno, pati od bolesti srca i dijabetesa, mesecima nije vidjen na važnim događajima u javnosti, a spekulacije da se njegovo stanje pogoršalo učestale su pošto se u septembru nije pojavio na proslavi 60. godišnjice državnosti, navele su agencije.

Severna Koreja, pak, odbacuje sve navode da je zdravstveno stanje lidera zemlje narušeno.
Vesti o njegovoj bolesti pojavile su se u trenutku kada su nastavljeni međunarodni pregovori o severnokorejskom nuklearnom programu.

Japanska agencija Kjodo je podsetila da se Kim 2007. godine pojavio 91 put u javnosti, dok je ove godine to učinio 94 puta.
