This photo of a F-105G armed with two AGM-78s and 4 Shrikes on 2 dual launchers was dropped as a leaflet on SAM sites to intimidate the crews. Although dual launchers were available, the WW's rarely used them because they vibrated heavily if only 1 Shrike was fired. (U.S.A.F.)

Synopsis: The film portrays life of F-105 pilots who daily fight the air war in Southeast Asia. Pictures their hazardous missions against determined enemy fire in the north, while pilots and crews tell about the job they are doing and why. |

Započeo je s radom 1964. godine kao standardni F-105F. 1967. godine pridružio se 355. taktičkom borbenom krilu na Tajlandu, gdee je leteo u borbenim misijama gotovo tri godine. Za to vreme, postao je jedan od nekoliko odabranih aviona USAF-a koji su tvrdili da su oborili tri MiG-a.
1970. godine opremljen je opremom za elektronske protivmere i pridružio se 388. TFW za dužnost "Wild Weasel", napadajući neprijateljska raketna mesta "zemlja-vazduh".
1972. godine avion je modifikovan u poboljšanu konfiguraciju F-105G "Wild Weasel". Nakon još jedne godine na Tajlandu, dodeljen je 35. TFW u vazduhoplovnoj bazi George, California, gde je ostao sve do februara 1980. kada je odleteo u muzej. Označen je onako kako je izgledao dok je bio dodeljen 561. taktičkoj borbenoj eskadrili sa sedištem u Korat Royal Thai vazduhoplovnoj bazi na Tajlandu, 1972.-1973. godine.
