Мало ми је необичан овај снимак. Прво приказује брод који плови прамцем у десну страну. Одједном, код експлозије приказује се брод који плови прамцем у леву страну (на снимку). Како је то могуће ако су снимала са обале (зоне лансирања)? Или су га снимали са две стране?

An Al Madinah-class light missile frigate of the Saudi Arabian Navy was targeted by an anti-ship missile fired by the Houthis off the coast of Yemen.

This is not the first time Houthis target ships by anti-ship missiles, the Saudi-led coalition confirmed that the United Arab Emirates’ high-speed logistics vessel, Swift, was hit off Yemen early on 1 October by a Chinese-built C-802 anti-ship missile.

The Al Madinah-class frigates were built by France in the early 1980s under the Sawari I program for the Royal Saudi Naval Force (RSNF), which were commissioned in 1985 and 1986. These 2,160-ton class ship are designed to carry out anti-submarine (ASW) and anti-surface warfare (ASuW) missions with limited air defense capabilities utilizing one 8-cell Crotale missile launcher.

The propulsion system consists of four diesel engines developing 32,500-bhp with two shafts allowing for a top speed of 30 knots.

The Al Madinah-class ships are equipped with eight Otomat anti-ship missiles, one 8-cell Crotale Surface-to-Air Missiles (SAM) with another 18 missiles in reserve (26 missiles in total) and a Dauphin helicopter operating from these vessels thanks to an hangar and flight deck.

Also, the Al Madinah frigates are fitted with a 100mm 44-caliber dual purpose naval gun system, two 40mm anti-aircraft (AA) guns and four torpedo tubes. The sensor package includes a DRBV-15 air search radar, a TSM 2630 hull-mounted sonar and TSM 2630 variable depth sonar.

In September 2013, the KSA awarded France 1 billion Euro contract for the modernization of four Al Madinah frigates.

Mada se po netu mota i info da je u pitanju bio napad samoubice u eksplozivnom čamcu.

Video shows Saudi frigate burning after Houthi attack off Yemen

A Saudi Arabian Navy frigate was reportedly attacked by Houthi rebels off the coast of Yemen on January 30.

Initial reports claimed the damage was inflicted by an anti-ship missile fired from land, similarly to what happened in October last year when UAE Navy vessel HSV Swift was hit by a modified C802 cruise missile in the Bab al-Mandab strait off Yemen’s coast.

The attacked vessel is one of the four Al Madinah-class frigates built for the Saudi Navy in the 80’s.

Saudi officials later confirmed the attack adding that Houthi fighters carried out the attack using “suicide boats”, English language news site Al Arabiya reported.

Officials said that one of the boats struck into the rear of the ship causing an explosion that killed two and injured three other sailors. The other suicide boats were neutralized.

This is at least the third Houthi attack on navy vessels operating in the Bab el Mandeb strait. Coalition warships are targeted by what appear to be Chinese-built C-802 anti-ship missiles. U.S. Navy destroyer USS Mason was among the attacked ships.

Missiles failed to hit USS Mason on October 9 but the U.S. retaliated by attacking Houthi positions in Yemen with Tomahawk missiles fired from USS Nitze.
