Tigray fighters tried to cross into Sudan, claims Sudanese newspaper
Tigray fighters tried to cross into Sudan, claims a Sudanese newspaper. According to the newspaper, more than 40 fighters of Tigray forces entered Sudan from Tigray region of Ethiopia but Sudan army deported them back to Ethiopia. Reportedly Sudanese forces took Tigray fighters into custody and handed them to an Ethiopian army camp. Ethiopian government has been claiming since the start of Tigray war that Tigray fighters are entering Sudan in the garb of refugees. Ethiopian government does not want Sudan to take sides with Tigray fighters. Despite Sudan capturing Al Fashaga lands on Sudan-Ethiopia border, Ethiopian forces did not launch a counter offensive against Sudanese forces. Ethiopian central government does not want to alienate Sudan. At the moment, Ethiopian government is focused on Tigray operation.

Sudanese take out rallies to celebrate capturing of Al Fashaga farms from Ethiopia
Sudanese people are celebrating territorial gains along Sudan-Ethiopia border. Sudan army captured Al Fashaga farms from Ethiopian farmers and Ethiopia Amhara fighters in the past few days. Al Fashaga remained under Ethiopian control for more than 2 decades. Al Fashqa is a fertile territory in El Gedaref state of Sudan which shared border with Ethiopia. Sudanese people are now taking out celebratory rallies in support of Sudan army.
Mekelle's interim mayor confirms reports of Eritrean troops stationed in Mekelle city of Tigray
Mekelle's new interim mayor Ataklti Haile Selassie in a video confirmed that there was presence of Eritrean troops in Mekelle city of Tigray region. The mayor said that Eritrean troops were called because Tigray forces had attacked Northern Command Headquarters in Mekelle city. Ethiopian and Eritrean governments have been denying the military presence of Eritrea in Tigray. On the other hand, Tigray and TPLF leaders have been speaking, since November 4 when fighting in Tigray erupted, about the presence of Eritrean soldiers fighting alongside Ethiopian troops against Tigray Defense Forces.

Satellite images show newly burnt patches of land at Northern Command HQ of ENDF in Mekelle
Satellite images reveal huge patches of land at Northern military Command Headquarters of Ethiopian National Defense Forces near Mekelle airport. According to the satellite images, being shared by experts, a place 2 km to the northwest of Mekelle airport seems heavily burnt and the burning took place over a period of last 10 days. Ethiopian Northern Military Command Headquarters is situated near Mekelle airport of Tigray region. ENDF took control of Mekelle city more than a month ago and no fighting has been seen in the past few days in the vicinity of Mekelle airport. It remain open to speculate on what happened at ENDF's Northern Military Command Headquarters in Mekelle city of Tigray region.

Talks on GERD dam end without any considerable progress
Ethiopian, Sudan and Egypt held talks on GERD (Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam) yesterday. Reportedly negotiations have ended without any considerable progress. Egypt boycotted a working paper presented in the meeting. Sudan and Ethiopia endorsed the working paper. The working paper was prepared by the experts appointed by African Union Executive Council Chairperson who presided over yesterday's meeting. Ethiopia has been building GERD on Nile river in Benishangul Gumuz state of Ethiopia since 2011. Both Sudan and Egypt, which are river Nile's downstream countries, have raised objections to GERD.

Tigray supporters claim that Colonel Dejene Tesfaye of Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) has been killed in Raya region of Tigray. Ethiopian government has not officially issued any statement about the claim of Tigray supporters so far. Colonel Dejene Tesfaye is known for delivery a fiery speech addressed to Mekelle residents before Ethiopian government forces launched offensive on Mekelle city of Tigray. Colonel Gebre of Tigray forces claims two attacks on ENDF
Colonel Gebre of Tigray military claims that Ethiopian government forces were ambushed by Tigray-backed fighters in Hawzen and Abraha Atsbeha. Colonel Gebre, military spokesperson of Tigray forces, remained under ground for several days. Yesterday he, in an audio conversation with Tigray DW TV, made these claims. Fighting between Ethiopian government forces and Tigray fighters goes on in Tigray region of Ethiopia.

Although urban territories have been taken over by Ethiopian National Defense Forces but still Tigray fighters keep on hitting Ethiopian government forces. Where is Tigray fighters' powerbase in Tigray? From where Tigray fighters are operating and carrying out attacks on Ethiopian government forces? Ethiopia says Sudan army is carrying out organized attacks on Ethiopian border areas
Ethiopia says Sudanese forces are carrying out organized attacks against Ethiopian farmers on Ethiopia-Sudan border. Both Sudan and Ethiopia are accusing each other of killing civilians in border areas. According to Sudanese officials, a Sudanese farmer was killed in Khor Yabis by Ethiopia Amhara militia fighters on Saturday. While Ethiopian Foreign Ministry spokesperson today accused Sudanese forces of looting and killing Ethiopian farmers. Sudan, two days ago, claimed of having captured entire Al Fashaga farms area along Ethiopia border. Al Fashaga farms in El Gedaref state has been center of conflict between Sudanese forces and Ethiopian Amhara fighters and farmers.

Fighting between Tigray fighters & Eritrean forces near Endabaguna
Several sources are reporting on fighting between Tigray fighters and Eritrean troops near Endabaguna town of Tigray. Endabaguna is situated in central Tigray region of Ethiopia. Presence of Eritrean troops in Tigray has been confirmed by several international news outlets including The New York Times. To the north of Endabaguna is situated Shire town. Hitsats and Shimelba refugee camps lie west of Shire. Earlier several sources claimed that Eritrean troops committed war crimes at Hitsats and Shimelba refugee camps. The fighting near Endabaguna confirms the presence of Eritrean troops near Eritrean refugee camps in Tigray, which is matter of concern for international aid and relief organizations which could not gain access to Hitsats and Shimelba since November 4. Ethiopian General Belay Seyoum says Eritrean forces entered Tigray on their own

Tigray: Supply of heavy military equipment to ENDF through Afar region
Supply of heavy military equipment to Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) through Afar region is being reported by some sources. Pictures of T72 tanks and AFV 89-Type on their way near Semera city of Afar towards Tigray are being shared by supporters of Tigray fighters. According to Tigray supporters, these tanks and armored fighting vehicles are being supplied to Ethiopian government forces who are fighting Tigray forces in Tigray region since November 4. Though Ethiopian government last month claimed that military operation in Tigray was over. But the supply of heavy military equipment to Ethiopian government forces stationed in Tigray indicates that fighting is far from over in Tigray region of Ethiopia.

Sudan media says Sudan army repulsed 2 attacks by Ethiopian forces and captured 1 Ethiopian soldier
Sudanese media sources are claiming that Sudanese army has repulsed two attacks by Ethiopian forces and militia fighters on Sudan-Ethiopia border. According to The Sudan Tribune, first attack was carried out in Sariba area in Fashaga al Kubra (Greater Fashaga). The attack was repulsed by Sudanese forces and one Ethiopian soldiers armed with Goryunov heavy machine gun was taken prisoner by Sudanese forces. The second attack was carried out by Ethiopian Amhara militia fighters in Al Alwa area, wchi was thwarted as well. Ethiopian government has not issued any statement in this regard yet. Sudan and Ethiopia are locked into decades-long border dispute over fertile lands of Al Fashaga farms in El Gedaref state of Sudan. Al Qadarif state of Sudan shares border with Ethiopia.

BBC & ETV air conflicting accounts of what happened to Al Nejashi mosque in Tigray
Tigray's famous Al Nejashi mosque near Wukro was damaged in the ongoing fighting in Tigray region of Ethiopia. Ethiopian state television ETV and BBC have told conflicting accounts of who damaged Al Nejashi mosque. ETV interviewed residents of the area who claimed Tigray fighters dug trenches near the mosque while BBC quoted a Beligum-based no profit organization which claimed that Al Nejashi mosque was bombarded and looted by Ethiopian and Eritrean forces. Al Nejashi mosque is the oldest mosque in Africa. Four senior Tigray/TPLF leaders have been killed & 9 arrested, claims Ethiopian government
Ethiopian National Defense Forces (ENDF) claim that 4 senior Tigray/TPLF leaders including Sekuture Getachew and Abebe Gebremedhin have been killed by Ethiopian government forces and 9 have been arrested. ENDF spokesperson Brigadier General Tesfaye Ayalew made this announcement a short while ago in a press conference. Among the killed include Sekuture Getachew, Abebe Gebremedhin, Zeray Asgedeom and Daniel Assefa. Among the arrested TPLF/Tigray leaders include Abadi Zemu, Tewdros Hagos, Mercy Teklai, Kidusan Nega, Solomon Kidane etc. Tigray fighters have not issued any statement in response to these claims of ENDF so far. Fighting between Ethiopian National Defense Forces ( ENDF) and Tigray Regional Forces started on November 4 in Tigray region of Ethiopia.
