Maychew town is under full control of Ethiopian government forces: ETV
Maychew town of Tigray is under full control of Ethiopian government forces, claims ETV. Ethiopian state-backed television channel ETV yesterday shared a video from Maichew town in which residents of the town were interviewed. Maychew town is to the south of Tigray capital Mekelle. It seems that on southern front, almost all urban areas have come under the control of ENDF ( Ethiopian National Defense Forces ) and Tigray fighters have retreated into mountainous areas.

Ethiopian government rejects international inquiry into war crimes in Tigray
Ethiopian government has rejected outside international inquiry into war crimes committed in Tigray region of Ethiopia. Since November 4, fighting has been going on in Tigray region between Ethiopia government forces and Tigray fighters. Both Ethiopian government and Tigray leaders are accusing each other of committing war crimes and massacres. On November 9, several hundred innocent civilians were killed in Mai Kadera town of Tigray. Fano Amhara militia backed by Ethiopian government and Samri militia backed by Tigray fighters are being accused of committing war crimes. There is need for independent and fair investigation into war crimes committed in Tigray region. Tigray refugees in Sudan tell their stories to CNN journalist

Tigray: US Senate calls for sanctions over human rights violations in Tigray conflict
Today US Senate called upon US government to impose sanctions on individuals, political or military, responsible for human rights abuses committed in Tigray conflict. A bipartisan resolution tabled by both Republican and Democrat Senators is the first solid statement given by US law makers since the start of fighting in Tigray region of Ethiopia. Amnesty International and several international news outlets like Aljazeera, CNN, AFP etc. are reporting on human rights abuses being committed in Tigray region of Ethiopia, where war is still going on between Ethiopian government forces and Tigray fighters.

Ne postoje "kredibilni" dokazi o upotrebi UAE dronova u konfliktu ... UAE drones are not involved in Tigray war: VOA
UAE drones are not part of Tigray war, was claimed yesterday in an article written on VOA ( Voice of America ) website. Tigray spokespersons have been claiming that drones of United Arab Emirates have been carrying out airstrikes against Tigray forces. Ethiopia and UAE deny this claim of Tigray fighters that UAE drones are involved in Tigray fighting. According to the VOA article, there is presence of UAE drones at Assab military base in Eritrea.
But involvement of these drones in support of Ethiopian government forces could not not be confirmed. The article quotes expert opinion of a project leader of PAX organization which studies international conflicts and researches military technologies. Meanwhile fighting between Ethiopian government forces and Tigray fighters continues in some part of troubled Tigray region of Ethiopia.

UNHCR says reports of Eritrean refugees in Tigray being killed & abducted
UNHCR ( United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) said in a statement we have received an overwhelming number of disturbing reports of Eritrean refugees in Tigray being killed, abducted and forcibly taken back to Eritrea; if confirmed, it would be a major violation of international law. Around 97,000 Eritrean refugees in Tigray have been trapped since the start of fighting between Ethiopian government forces and Tigray fighters on November 4. Before the start of fighting, UNHCR was providing humanitarian assistance to these Eritrean refugees in Tigray. But since November 4, UHNCR does not have access to the Eritrean refugees in Tigray. Some unconfirmed reports suggest that Eritrean refugees in Tigray were abducted and forcibly taken taken back by Eritrean forces to Eritrea. But since there is communications black-out in Tigray region, it is almost impossible to independently verify these reports.

Controversy about Ethiopian PM's visit of Mekelle
Yesterday Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmad visited Mekelle city of Tigray region. He met with ENDF army officers in Mekelle. Prime Minister Abiy Ahmad's plane landed at Mekelle airport. Some Tigray supporters are claiming Ethiopian government released fake photos of Abiy Ahmad's Mekelle visit. It seems that Ethiopian Prime Minister did visit Mekelle yesterday.
