Šumosmeračke sprave za osmatranje u sklopu VOJ korišćene su u JA/JNA do polovine 50-ih godina. S obzirom na opštu opsednutost Stealth karakteristikama i pasivnim sredstvima osmatranja, ove šumosmeračke sprave bi mogle doživeti svoju renesansu, naravno na novom tehnološkom nivou.

Nađoh da ta fotografija datira oko 1917. godine, i da su to sovjetski avio osmatrači ili kako bi već glasio prevod "Soviet plane spotters".

U 1917. i 1918. verovatnije bi ih zvali russian plane spotters, naziv sovjetski ustalio se tek godinu - dve kasnije. Ali fotke su super.
