Podmornica sagrađena po prinipu "uradi sam" sa imenom "Ghadir 948" se pridružila prvoj pomorskoj brigadi Iranske mornarice u ponedeljak. Govoreći na svečanosti povodom porinuća, Iranski ministar odbrane, Brigadir Mostafa Mohammad Najjar je istakao da je ponosan na ovo veliko dostignuće Islamskog Irana kao na oslanjanje na domaće znanje i način da se izazove iznenađenje među liderima arogantnih sila.

Home-Made Submarine Joins Iran's Naval Fleet

TEHRAN (FNA)- An Iranian home-made submarine, named Ghadir 948, joined the naval brigade of the First Zone of the Iranian Navy on Monday.

Speaking on the sidelines of a ceremony to mark the launch of operation of Ghadir 948 submarine, Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said, "The Islamic Iran has succeeded in making great achievements alone and through reliance on domestic knowledge in a way that it has caused surprise among leaders of the arrogant powers."

He referred to the capability of the Iranian defense ministry in designing, manufacturing and supplying different types of weaponry to the armed forces, and said the expert personnel of the ministry are capable of supplying all types of needs of the Navy, Air Force and the Ground Force 100% domestically.

Describing enemies' efforts in the last three decades since the Islamic Revolution to deter Iran's progress, Najjar stressed that these pressures caused the country's progress and development in political, economic, military and defense fields.

He also underlined that developing technologies in different areas, including production of missiles, artilleries, submarines, naval vessels and others, requires the participation and exchange of information and experience among several countries in the West, but "Iran could gain those technologies through reliance on Iranian specialists".

In November, Iran announced that its first domestically built Ghadir class submarine launched operation.

The Iranian military said that the submarine can easily evade detection as it is equipped with sonar-evading technology and can fire missiles and torpedoes simultaneously.

The navy chief, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said in November that Ghadir-class submarines are the second Iranian-built underwater craft outfitted with "state-of-the-art electronic equipment." He said it took 10 years to build the submarine.

Ova budževina je kopija severnokorejskih podmornica klase "P-4", što dokazuju i ova dva propelera. Iran je redovna mušterija severnokorejskih brodova, tako da ovo ne bi trebalo da predstavlja iznenađenje, ali ono što je čudno je činjenica da nisu maskirali propelere, kao što sve druge zemlje rade.

Ovaj gornji propeler izvesno nije porivni, već manevarski. Vidi se da ima mogućnost obrtanja oko vertikalne ose, što će reći da služi za manevrisanje na uskom prostoru na malim dubinama, kada kormilo pravca i dubine zbog malih brzina nije efikasno, što i jeste karakteristično za ovakav tip podmornica, čiji je osnovni zadatak izviđanje neprijateljskih baza i sidrišta, polaganje mina i prevoz diverzanata.

Ali gledajući dizajn, meni više liči na neku Austro-Ugarsku obalsku podmornicu iz I sv. rata.
