Vukli su ga na Bataju kada su dolazili vlasnici (iracani) da vide gde su im avioni Smiley

Nije mi samo jasno zasto ga nisu vratili obzirom da su Iracani najverovatnije odustali od tih aviona.

Hi,

In the recently released book "MiG-23 Flogger in the Middle East" some new information about MiG-23ML 23260 was revealed.

The highest scorer Iraqi MiG-23ML (with 2 kill markings) was 2560. This MiG-23ML was re-serialed as 23260.

According to my information the following former Iraqi MiG-23ML aircraft were sent to Zmaj for overhaul:
23252
23260
23267
23269
23278
23279
23282
23288
23290
23292

Except for 23269, are all the remaing aircraft still stored in a warehouse at the 160th Logistic Support Base in Pančevo?

Naš tehničar na Iračkoj 23-jci. Ovom letelicom su postignute dve pobede u Iračko-Iranskom ratu 1980-1988.

Hi,

Last week I received the book @War #5; 'The Yugoslav Air Force - in the battles for Slovenia, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina 1991-1992 [Volume 1].
This book is written by Aleksander Radić and is a real masterpiece.

The book has a serial (+ order of battle) overview of all operational JRV i PVO aircraft on 27 June 1991.
It even has a serial overview of all the aircraft at the Zmaj Works, Soko Works and Moma Stanojlović Works on 27 June 1991.

The following Iraqi aircraft are listed at the Zmaj Works;
MiG-21bis: 21168, 21174, 21177, 21186, 21190, 21198, 21204 and 21206
MiG-23ML: 23252, 23260, 23267, 23269, 23272, 23278, 23279, 23288, 23290 and 23292

Overhaul on these aircraft was suspended in August 1990.
Except for MiG-23ML 23269, all aircraft were evacuated by road to Batajnica AB.
MiG-21bis 21168, 21198 and 21204 were handed over to 126th fighter aviation squadron in early July 1991.

Some sources report MiG-23ML 23282 instead of 23272.
Who can confirm which of the two is correct?

Regrads,
Jeroen
