Svakako da ih je bilo,ali u jako malom broju.A i kako motorista kaže,ovo su propagandne slike,to se bar vidi iz daleka.No u svakom slučaju,jako su zanimljive.

Ovo su propagandne slike okupatorske vojske. Ako se bolje pogleda sve ovo je bilo moguće uslikati i napraviti da izgleda kao masovno sa 200 ljudi. Neverujem da su Splićani bili presrećni što su imali ovakvu vrstu proslave u porobljenom gradu.
O kako da ne. Imali su oni pristaša u Splitu na zavidnom nivou. Čak je i riva u to doba dobila ime Adolfa Hitlera. Svakako, bio je i crveni pokret u to vrijeme paralelno. Dosta ih je završilo u Mosorskom partizanskom odredu, ali i dosta nadrapalo od istih tih Italijana. |

Moram radi povijesnih cinjenica napisati sljedece: Nekadasnja Trumbiceva obala (gdje je otprilike bio hotel Ambasador) prozvan je Riva Costanzo Ciano (tal. admiral i otac ministra vanjskih poslova Galeazza), a ranija Zapadna obala - Riva Benito Mussolini).

Nemojmo se zavaravati imali su oni veliki broj pristaša tada no nakon njih su došli Švabe što je bila još veća muka, tko želi saznati više o prilikama u Splitu u to vrijeme obvezatna lektira je knjiga "Ratna Kronika Splita" prethodno navedeni 10.06.1942. je ovako opisan ; - U Splitu, prilikom proslave Dana Kraljevske mornarice, na Hitlerovoj obali održana je parada kojoj su prisustvovale najviše fašističke i političke ličnosti grada i Provincije. Mjesni komitet KPH Splita je planirao da se za vrijeme svečanosti s tavana zgrade, koja se nalazila preko puta podignute tribine, bace bombe. Fašistička policija je blagovremeno blokirala prilaze tribini i okolnim zgradama pa rodoljubi određeni za bacanje bombi nisu mogli ući u određenu zgradu. Tako je ova, dugo pripremana i dobro zamišljena akcija komunista Splita propala. - Na kupalištima Bačvice i Firule talijanski fašisti pokupili su kupače i natjerali ih da prisustvuju proslavi Dana mornarice koja se održala na Hitlerovoj obali. One koji su odbili tukli su i odvodili »crnom maricom« u zatvor. No idemo dalje s još par zanimljivih fotografija ne radi se baš o Splitu nego o Strožancu mjestu na ušču rijeke Žrnovnice i fotografijama potopljenog parobroda ispred drvenog gata koji je tu nekoć stajao točnije ispred kuće plemićke obitelji Cindro koji su tamo imali ljetnikovac a koji je tamo i danas.
